The Resort

Emerald Island Resort is a prestigious, secure, gated community surrounded by a conservation area of 300 acres with lakes, and 11 acres of woodland INSIDE the community for safe trail walking, jogging, cycling etc among indiginous plants and trees. It is a peaceful, restful haven yet within minutes of all the amenities that you could possibly need for a really enjoyable, happy vacation.

The impressive entrance to Emerald Island greets you with a picturesque dolphin fountain before driving down the colonnade approach to the manned security gatehouse. The entrance then opens out onto another large, beautiful rotunda dolphin fountain. The streets are tree-lined and the community is beautifullly landscaped – a really special, peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of busy days.

Disney World is less than 5 minutes away and the ‘hub’ of the 192 with restaurants of all types, shopping plazas, medical centre, mini golfs, numerous attractions etc and very easy access to all parts of Orlando.

Guests can make use of the Emerald Island Clubhouse with large heated outside pool with sun-deck and hot tub, tikki-bar, meeting lounge, shop (coming soon), gym, sauna, games arcade, Internet café, children’s play area, and tennis and volleyball courts, nature walks etc.
